Menus

This article describes design decisions that will be rediscussed before their implementation in the future, and as such are not final.

The Main Menu

In the main menu, there are seven main buttons. They are:

• New Game
• Load Game
• Options
• Tools
• Extras
• Credits
• Exit

Next to the New Game button there is a pencil icon. This takes you straight into the Microbe Editor.

Above the buttons is a planet shrouded in darkness with the Thrive logo on it. The background is an expanse of space.

Development

Currently, only the New Game, Load Game and Exit buttons work.
